Bio

As an international rugby player and decathlete for Ireland Barry suffered many injuries and this interest led him to study physiotherapy at Birmingham University.

Over the years he has worked with the Irish athletic team and consulted to several professional rugby teams such as the Harlequins, Wasps, England fifteens and England Sevens specialising in functional Pilate’s rehabilitation in these instances. He also took some time out from physiotherapy to play professional rugby for London Irish.

He specializes in spinal manipulation and rehabilitation using soft tissue release techniques, joint mobilisation/manipulation and Pilate’s rehabilitation. He also has great interest in the functional rehabilitation of running related injuries through biomechanical analysis of gait patterns.
